Lori Ann Levy-Holm - Artist
The desire to create art has been a constant sustaining force in Lori Ann’s life. From small sketches to large scale projects, her art is a window into the world around her. Teaching has been an integral part of her art making process as she gains so much from her interactions with students.
Lori Ann earned a bachelors degree in Art Education from Temple University and studied in Italy at the Tyler School of Art Campus in Rome and a MFA in illustration from the University of Hartford. After college she served two formal apprenticeships with sculptors and worked at the Staffordshire Pottery Museum in England as a demonstrator thrower.
Currently Lori Ann enjoys teaching a myriad of classes for the School of Botanical Art and Illustration at the Denver Botanic Gardens and works with their exhibitions and learning & engagement teams. She draws, paints, and prints in her Wheat Ridge studio.
